It's kind of cool to look back on the work and the clips of where I left off with this. This is a clip from October 2024 when I finished transitioning all the core programming and such form Godot 3 to 4.3 before I got sick again. There's A LOT of "mess" I want and need to clean up from that period.

Ugh, I guess I'm stuck with ff14 for a few more months. I've been so exhausted from chronic illness stuff I really thought I canceled that subscription, but I guess I didn't. I hate letting things go to waste or having backlogs of stuff so I guess I'll reinstall and muck about in it for awhile.

I'm clearly(to me) quite rusty in some areas, but I haven't forgotten a lot of my traditional art roots and that makes me happy. I guess this is what they mean by never forgetting how to ride a bike; You don't forget the essentials, but you're not 100% jumping back on it.

Going to experiment with workflows of the next few pieces. I want to go back to traditional art, but don't want to outright abandon digital entirely. Instead of upgrading the space on my current Synology NAS, I'm considering building my own with spare parts I have from previous builds or getting a UGREEN if I feel like I can't handle the setup for now(same reason i got the Synology at the time). I'm not liking the direction of Synology atm
