Roz Chast New Yorker cartoon from 2021, just because.

I like the cut of Brad Lander's jib.

"If Kennedy finds an excuse to add autism to the list of compensable vaccine injuries, for which manufacturers are legally responsible," it'd become "immediately untenable for manufacturers to continue producing or delivering shots in the US" Get your shots, folks. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/18/o...

Called it. Ignore the reality show manipulations, focus on the “big beautiful bill” that grants the president unprecedented new powers, disembowels health care coverage, and adds $2.4 trillion to the debt. Largest transfer of wealth ever from the poor and middle class to the ultrarich.

Taylor Swift now hath full ownershippe of her musique. She also doth possess, of the seven ringes, those not destroyed by dragons -- and she hath the nyne. The ringes of the elves remayne out of her control, but even so yf she doth fynde the One Ring then Taylor Swift will rule all Middel Earthe.

typical corrupt science

Ian McKellen gives everyone living today a template for how to respond to repression – and this was in 1988, per the video embedded in this article. Calm, rational, reasonable, impassioned, all at the same time. Let's make our arguments, and do it directly. www.thepinknews.com/2025/03/10/i...

For every doll you deny me I will push another jet off an aircraft carrier

Ironically, this is Big Pharma's wet dream. Rather than a preventative vaccine that costs a few dollars a dose twice a lifetime, they can sell expensive new in-patent drugs for hundreds a dose that you need to keep taking.

"In 2020, [Portland, OR] approved building [middle housing] on lots zoned for single family homes... A new report from the City says, it's working. 1,400 new units built in just a few years and each one is $300,000 less expensive than a typical single family home." @nbcnews.com
