Not my imagination running away from me every time I play through Horrific Vision of Stormwind about what this means for Valis's family and all the other related characters I've built around him in his story. He's either dead, evil or Dark Souls-esque depressed but still fighting in this timeline.

Speaking as someone who used to obsess, rant and be rather unpleasant over Alliance representation or bad treatment during Cataclysm (15 years ago!), and to a lesser extent Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor, the current discourse is providing me with a distinct sense of "Glad I grew up".
