The Legion’s new “Rodent King” cosmetic in #DeadByDaylight is clearly a reference to the RL “rat king” phenomenon, in which a bunch of rats (or mice) have their tails bound together, perhaps because of hair or a dried-out sticky substance.

Having now watched the Secret Level episode of Concord, I have to say that I … would still not be interested in playing the game even if it hadn’t flopped. It’s an incredibly generic sci-fi universe - the Temu version of Guardians of the Galaxy. Honestly, the game deserved to die.

Having now completed Season 2 of Castlevania: Nocturne, I’d say that the show accomplished the rare task of maintaining or even exceeding the level of quality set by its first season. I don’t know if it’s a great show, but it is very fun, and unlike Arcane, it didn’t disappoint with its ending.

Although the Warhammer 40K episode from #SecretLevel is the standout, I actually quite liked the New World episode. It was funny and oddly heartwarming at the end, as well as being a good showcase of how to tell a comedic fantasy story.

I think the problem with Arcane Season 2 is a classic case of trying to do way too much within a limited timeframe. The plot doesn’t unfold coherently as a result, creating gaps in the storyline and massive swerves in characterization. It’s a beautiful mess, but still a mess.

Hell Hole on Shudder was a massive disappointment even as an afternoon time-waster. I’ve heard good things about the Adams Family, but if that listless shitpile was indicative of their work, I’ll avoid their movies in the future. It was so bad I think it gave me cancer.
