An uptick in fire season is fast approaching in the West. Based on current snowpack data by watershed, it looks like mountain/forest systems in: 1) the Southwest (early season), 2) C/S Sierra (mid-late season) & 3) N Cascades to N Rockies (late season) as being top contenders for very active years.
