I don’t know if y’all have been on Twitter lately (if not, good on you), but my god has it gotten noticeably worse over the last 6-12 months. Insane cesspool of low-grade opinions and boosted, worthless ragebait drivel. It’s always been that way but it’s gotten noticeably worse at this point.

Mickey 17 was a nice flick, adventurous and original. I feel aspects of it were somewhat underserved, but I enjoyed the themes and the picture overall. Ruffalo’s Trump/dictator-amalgamation was brilliant, the performances and CGI with Pattinson’s dual role was very well done. I enjoyed it very much.

The Oblivion remaster is clearly excellent and Virtuous deserves due credit for their work. That said, after 30 hours, I’m reminded why I never got into the OG: the Oblivion gates and them being a key gameplay mechanic. They suck, they’re tedious & they always seemed cheap to me. Still a great game.

Genuinely surprised how many of the remastered Oblivion’s reviews seem to struggle with qualifying their opinions with the idea that: it’s a remaster and not a new game. Y’all, we get it. It’s *not* a new game. Frankly, the devs did a lot to try and preserve the OG fan’s expectations.
