Trump supporters were lying about everything

One of the reasons life in America is more exhausting is that like 30% of the population not only voted for Trump, but started mirroring their personalities after him. The hysterical whining, the weapons grade narcissism, all of it. A society can’t operate when millions of people are like that

My two cents: there seems to be like 8 people left on the planet that know what socialism actually is

“Tanks in the streets, a military invasion of California, unauthorized bombing of Iran, people being kidnapped on the streets. What are you doing about this?” Democrats: “If you could chip in $7…”

How come Joe Manchin isn’t on a morning show complaining how it isn’t very bipartisan-y to only inform Republicans of the strikes on Iran?

Highly recommend reading the Appendices in The Return of the King if only to use them as dry history to gear yourself back down after the culmination of the War of the Ring

To give you an idea of what a stranglehold aging Boomers have had on politics, we haven’t even had a Gen X President yet, and the oldest among them are turning 60 this year

Yes, McConnell is an amoral monster for saying this, but he also is correctly assessing the average voter’s attention span and propensity to have their own harm washed away by some bullshit social issue

Now that Zohran Mamdani won the primary in NYC, I’m kind of suspicious of him since that city has only elected freak shows to that office for 50 years

More pearl clutching over Trump using the F word than having masked thugs kidnap people off the street or the other thousand crimes he committed that should’ve ended with him in prison until the end of time

With no due respect, they know exactly what they’re doing, and Trump has no clue he’s being played. Netanyahu has been trying to get us to invade Iran for him over 3 decades, he’s not going to quit now that he’s this close with a President who’s this dumb

Iran 2025 is not quite a 1 for 1 with Iraq 2003. This time they didn’t bother faking intelligence for WMDs, they just straight up said, “Not really any evidence, but I can feel it, you know?”

Another lesson from Iraq I want to impart: we are in our own. Democrats are entering an entirely new phase of useless when it comes to this kind of thing

You know that 88% of the strategizing was coming up with a name for this

As someone who was 16 when we invaded Iraq, I’m here to tell anyone too young to remember that this is a “believe none of what you hear, and half of what you see” kind of time. As of now, the media is just the press op for the military industrial complex. Not to be trusted when it comes to Iran

It can’t be overstated how out of their depth this administration is when it comes to Iran right now. Trump is mush brained dotard who gets worse every day. Hegseth is an incompetent drunk. Rubio took this job purely to work remotely and go on Sunday shows so he’d have a resume builder for 2028.

We really are just combining all the GOP’s worst hits now

What year of journalism school do they teach you how to shut your brain off?

Setting optics aside, ICE agents just snatching people in plain clothes, masked, showing nothing that identifies them as law enforcement sounds terrifyingly dangerous in a country with more guns than people and several states with Stand Your Ground laws

I try to defend Democrats, but they’re making it difficult especially right now when there’s a drumbeat for war in Iran and they run for the hills

So much terrible shit has happened in the last three weeks, we completely forgot prior to that the President accepted a plane as a bribe in full view of the public, AND that news almost got drowned out by the stunning revelation that Joe Biden was old when he was President

www.cnn.com/2025/06/18/p... I know we’re hitting a lot of familiar beats from 2003 right now, but I remember that run up clearly, and can’t stress that writing this in 2003 would have meant an automatic firing for whoever wrote it then. There’s a tiny glimmer of hope here

Now that I’m older, and I’m watching the cycle repeat itself, I can confidently say that the boomers in government and media who forced us into Iraq over 20 years ago didn’t make mistakes, it was intentional malevolence because the same people are doing it again now

One of the worst things that happened was people being glued to their TVs during the first Gulf War because now American media starts beating the drum if there’s even a remote chance American military action

I’ve been looking at “Iran will have a nuke any day now” headlines for 30 years, but seeing the addition of doubt by mainstream media is a twist

Democrats have this delusion that if they bank all these times where they took the high road and played bipartisanship, that they can then reveal this reservoir of reasonableness when the chips are really down and people will care

No one has a lower opinion of Trump supporters than Trump and the Republican Party

Really love watching a President basically invading a state and the Democratic response seems to be asking me for my money while hiding in conference rooms refreshing their phones waiting on CNN to tell them if it’s politically wise to push back yet

MAGA doesn’t want to hear this, but on Saturday, the rest of the planet saw a weak, decrepit, mad king decompose on his birthday

I know we’re in the “both sides” phase, but it’s hard not to put this on the Republican Party. Violence is part of their electoral strategy, violence is how they keep their own politicians from speaking out. Their leader loves violence and pardoned terrorists.

Trump is doing his familiar schtick of breaking something already in place, causing a catastrophe, and then getting the other party to agree to the previous framework, and proclaiming himself a hero, except now he’s doing it with Iran’s nuclear weapons and they don’t play that game

www.cnn.com/us/live-news... I seem to recall a eyelinered blowhard going on a sanctimonious spiel about censorship during the VP debate last year.

Reminder to everyone enabling Trump that Rand Paul is one of Trump’s most reliable bootlickers. None of you are safe from his mood swings

The King of the Hill revival will probably do pretty well simply because even liberals miss conservatives like Hank Hill. A dependable neighbor who’s personally conservative, but minds his own business.

Never forget how Kamala Harris said that Project 2025 wasn’t the plan, Trump denied it, and the media took his word for it.

Gavin Newsome started this second Trump term on completely wrong feet, but what we’ve seen from him in the last few days is what we need from every Democrat. No hand wringing, no fretting how this will play in diners in Idaho.

Continue pointing out that Republicans got angry at a fake scenario they concocted in their heads of Joe Biden invading their states because I know the previous 6,783 examples of GOP hypocrisy didn’t break through, but I have a good feeling about this one

I do feel like news coverage is just that Parks and Rec scene where Tammy 2 is nude in a library screaming at the top of her lungs, and when Leslie acts horrified, she’s shushed by a random librarian. The random librarian being the news media

Trump is just as brittle and dead mentally as Biden ever was, but he’s loud and confident, so the media can’t figure it out

It’s probably not worth pointing out that using the military on civilians is illegal given the state of everything
