Just fixed up and varnish my House Arano #Battletech Lance

Just finished painting my first lance of #battletech miniatures. The Arano royal guard with the first mechs you get in the 2018 BattleTech video game. There still some bits I want to fix before I varnish it but overall I like how it turned out for a first attempt.

Just got the BattleTech humble bundle! Looking through the new force manuals and I really like how they are set up. I’m still figuring out how special command abilities are given to a unit but as more is made that will be cleared up. I also like the universe book being a modern summary of the Lore!!

I’m very proud with how this turned out. I used different tools and methods to remove the nub marks and it turned out so good you barely noticed them. I been doing gunpla on and off for years now and I think this is the best one I ever made.

So I found out that the BattleTech alpha strike box can hold all the buildings from its box and from the alpha strike counter pack sort of. It fits well in shape but it’s a little thicker than the box.

I was looking into miniature painting for BattleTech. I got a couple lances ready for whenever I wanted to start painting. I know the basic house colors but the thing I don’t know is what color to paint the battlemech’s cockpit window. All the examples I see use different colors.
