“Go Birds, F Trump” chants at the #NoKings rally might be the most Philly thing ever!

Here’s a New York Times photo of the Chicago “No Kings” rally. NYT said the march that followed spanned at least 10 blocks.

Thousands of people marched from Love Park to the Philadelphia Museum of Art as part of the "No Kings" protest underway in the city.

The energy is incredible here in Philly. We’re marching and rallying for Medicaid, for food assistance, for our students, for our schools, for our democracy and so much more. #NoKings

I don't understand why these vehicles are illegal in the US. Or rather, I understand that if these vehicles were legal, Ford and the like would only be able to sell cars to jerks.

“Tesla’s driverless ‘robotaxis’ could launch in Austin as soon as June 22. But a demo in Austin today showed a $TSLA, manually driven to test its Full Self-Driving system, failed to stop for a child-sized dummy at a school bus—and hit it.” @cbsaustin @velez_tx

Especially if you *don't* live in Philly but live elsewhere in PA, contact your reps about this!

SEPTA is not only the most efficient major transit organization in the country by a mile, but also it's how the Phanatic gets to work (I assume)

We must continue to pressure lawmakers to fund SEPTA and transit upgrades in Western PA. This is critical for the Commonwealth. youtu.be/XoCCRXgDUhs

STUDY found that “the growing number of SUVs reduced the vehicle capacity of freeway lanes in Minnesota’s Twin Cities by 9.5% between 1995-2019. Their findings suggest yet another way in which ‘car bloat’ exacerbates problems that affect everyone, regardless of how they travel.” Plus more deaths…
