What are people using for creating video coding tutorials? A lot of great looking stuff on YouTube, what's the software behind it?

Life is changing. AI is here. My partner had to change his profession after 30 years because his translation work dried up because of it. Should we all be afraid? I don’t know. But it’s here. That’s just the reality. We just have to do our best and find ways to integrate, I guess.

*peeks up from the dust* Sooooo, how you all doing?

So this is what a dystopian future really feels like.

I know it's been a while and sadly the series is not gonna last as I'm no longer in the dressing room! But here's my latest video youtu.be/TXgYgwaWF0U

Looking forward to this class tonight, I've never had a chance to join in class on Twitch!

Looking up from the dust after ending my most recent acting contract. Hands off keyboard for a couple weeks but managed to win a pretty cool acting award on the last day of my contract, so that was fun. Now back to grappling with my 100 hours project and finishing up my last few #100Devs lessons.

Are you still using const and let on every line to declare all your variables? Here's this and more handy tips to make you a little more streamlined when writing your JS code www.freecodecamp.org/news/javascr...

Spent a couple weeks sans social media, took a fun trip to Malaga and now enjoying the last few weeks of my current performing contract. So sorry I’ve been away! Did you miss me? What’s been going on?

I love this little list of resources for all my web-dev friends, especially the first one for quick easy web-development needs. Have a look dev.to/kafeel_ahmad...

Starting the new year off right with a little productivity hacking and a few tips to starting your day with some focus. I'm not a meditating type, I'm pretty still in my mind anyway, but taking a few moments to breathe is always useful medium.com/twosapp/7-si...

Happy New Year to all my lovely butterfly pals. Hope it brings you exactly what you wished for.

Over the past few weeks, I've had to admit defeat. I could not maintain a productive learning to code schedule with the hectic holdiay performing schedule that we had and with holiday travel. My brain just couldn't hack it. So I've had to give myself grace. I've not given up. It's just a pause.

Morning friends. It's the last day of the year (or Old Year's Night as we called it in Trinidad) and I've still got two shows to knock out before the clock strikes midnight. Wish me luck!

I first met event delegation when I was making a simple calculator and felt too lazy to add event listeners to every button 😂. But I'm not sure I truly understood all of it. Here's a handy article if you're wanting to try it for your projects dev.to/shafayeat/ma...

Tailwind is big in the dance right now, so if you've been experiment but finding it making your JSX and HTML bulky, here's some handy tips to keep it nifty! faun.pub/top-tips-and...

What do my #100Dev fam do when you don't have time to watch video classes and content? Are you reading books and blogs? I try to fill those moments with the @freecodecamp.bsky.social curriculum. I'm loving the look of the new certifications!

That was a lovely break up North, seeing the fella's family and eating my weight in roast dinners! Excited to carry on my React journey and to carry on to the end of my #100Devs video classes (You never really finish 100Devs!)

10 shows down. Now to rest for a few days before another busy period. And breathe! Happy holidays to all my pals. Hope it’s bright and full of whatever you wish!

The holiday season means that the number of shows that we do increases. Two shows tomorrow, then on to a bit of a break. Which means all my coding activities are mostly reading, listening or watching. Podcasts keeping me in, thank goodness for @leonnoel.bsky.social and @dthompsondev.bsky.social

I remember when we first started manipulating the DOM in JS, it was like a whole new world was opened up to me. Suddenly, web development was a real thing, not just theories floating about in my head. Here's some DOM methods that are particularly useful! blog.logrocket.com/exploring-es...

So is it that you can use the Scrimba React course for free but you have to pay to do the challenges? No judgment, just wanna know.

You know when you see a list of tips and tricks and it automatically makes you go 'ooooooooh!!!!'. This one right here is so good. Here's some JS tricks that you may not have seen before and some you might just need reminding of. dev.to/jagroop2001/...

Just starting my React journey, so it's time to compile useful articles that will help us all as we learn new things! dev.to/_ndeyefatoud...

Had a little time AFK, visiting my mom in Houston and enjoying cold plunges in the pool! Hope you're all taking adequate time to recharge and rejuvenate and come back stronger to achieve your goals!

It’s a big day today. We released our live cast album. It’s been a long time in the making. How did I spend the day? Fighting to figure out why my two mongoose schema aren’t being connected… Anyway, here’s me and the London West End cast in the release video for the album.

I got nominated for an acting award today. I kinda love how full and varied my life is!

I love this resource, a lot of what you need for front-end development is right here at your fingertips in this handy list. Might be useful to my #100Devs folks who are just starting out. github.com/codingknite/...

I swear I've spent over a hundred hours on my job application tracker but it's not my 100 hours project. I'm still figuring out what I want that to be! #100Devs

Well this isn't going to happen because my motherboard is so old it doesn't support any of the chips compatible with Windows 11 🤣 It's a perfectly good machine and I may give up the whole windows ecosystem and move to Linux anyway. It will be a learning curve, but I'm up to the challenge.

It was a really cool year - back in London, playing in a really cool show, contributing to my art, picking up a new skill, not letting the disappointments grind me to a halt. If I look back on the year, I can say I'm satisfied. Could I have done more? Of course. But I'm satisfied with what I've done

I'm currently fighting for my life trying to implement authentication and sessions on my projects. But I'm really interested in learning React soon, so I'm saving this article with some handy simple react projects so I can return to it when I get there! www.freecodecamp.org/news/javascr...

Thinking of changing the chip on my motherboard. Because I’m always on some nonsense. I built my PC around 8 years ago, I’m always tinkering.

I really should get on with more Javascript in the Dressing Room videos as I'll be leaving that contract beginning of February and don't have another dressing room to go straight into yet! 😀

I always like to know if there's an extension that I'm missing out on. Here's a nice little list! dev.to/trulyfurqan/...
