“‘What we have heard from all of the people that we have talked to is that nobody wants this,’ Tanager said. ‘Nobody wants their public land sold off. (They) certainly don’t want our public land sold off to fund tax cuts for billionaires.’”

Just some creepy armed Mad Max guys trying to gain entry to Dodgers Stadium. ICE says it wasn’t them. DHS says they were Border Patrol. But honestly who the hell knows? They’ve given permission for any psycho to put on a ski mask, point a gun, grab people & throw them into an unmarked vehicle.

If you’re under 30, you weren’t even born the last time Andrew Cuomo lived here. This is your city. Vote like it.

DHS doesn’t get to set the rules of its own oversight. DHS doesn’t get to make laws and regulations - Congress does that. Start arresting these people. www.cbsnews.com/chicago/vide...

Spot. On. As always. If you’re not reading @editorialboard.bsky.social, you should.

Contact your senators now. @resist.bot makes it easy.

Trump proposing to end federal holidays. He wants you to say “Merry Christmas” again- to all your co-workers.

I would suggest that the people who continue to engage, should probably be blocked as well.

This is a vital message: one of the larger reasons BlueSky is refreshingly free of alt-right shitlords is because in the early days we made a gentleperson’s agreement to starve these fuckos out and it worked. No likes, no quotes, no engagement. They got bored and left. Please keep the Old Ways.

Republicans have insisted for years that any increase in America’s so-called debt limit be paired with spending reductions. I don't know about you...but I'm disturbed by the amount of hell NOT being raised by leadership about masked individuals jumping out of unmarked vans, refusing to identify themselves...and just shoving people into a Goddamn vehicle and whisking them away.

Fact check: Viral drone video of Gaza destruction is real flip.it/cmG9q6

I’m trying to not feel hatred especially with recent political violence. It’s hard to see so much public land available for sale in the Senate Budget Reconciliation Bill everyone should be calling. The beloved Juneau Icefield, the flanks of Mount Hood… wilderness.maps.arcgis.com/apps/instant...

So much for MAHA.

Government waste and fraud. I’m sure campaign donating contractors made out well.

What are these exploding rockets costing US taxpayers? because, I would bet it they were coming solely out of Elon Musk’s pocket, there would be a lot fewer of them. It’s a lot easier setting other people’s money on fire.

When it’s gone, it’s gone. We’ll never get it back. We don’t need this money this way. We can’t undo the environmental damage that will follow. This is a bad idea.

Would be funny watching him cope if we weren’t also risking the total destruction of monetary independence for the world’s reserve currency

the damage is incalculable. in the future, no one will trust our visas. no one will trust our grants. tax credits/incentives for infrastructure won't be trusted. The US is establishing itself as an unreliable partner.

Major media fail: Two thirds of voters have heard "little" or "nothing at all" about the budget bill that will have huge ramifications on their daily lives. www.washingtonpost.com/documents/b7...
