Going back to my rant yesterday about the scummy nature of #voiceover I came across an ad for selling a PDF for all the proper pre sets for audacity for VO. I was looking at it and it's like "Ok, remove background him using Noise Reduction, right?" Because why would I pay you $7 for that?

The "Starving artist" trope was started by ppl who didn't wanna pay artists (writers, painters, musicians, etc) & wanted it to seem a good thing. Artists suffering for art, starving artists, doing it for love only/shunning money - All myth turned folklore as reason to NOT FUCKING PAY US OUR DUE.
