Tried to save a baby duck from being birdnapped by a crow today. This actually happened. It’s been a weird day.

Discovered ‘Wanderers’ by @chuckwendig.bsky.social in a tiny underground horror section of an old converted cinema bookshop in Hay-on-wye. Felt rather on brand based on the blurb.

Home alone for the day, so you know what that means? All the Content™ shall be created today!

Gotta admit, it’s a good feeling when your editor picks up on your vibe.

The edit of my book came back two days earlier than planned, which means the anxiety has arrived earlier too! Here’s to many a long night ahead.

Still figuring out this whole YouTube thing. Here’s me throwing away books in a forest. youtu.be/OavRn5V6ELs?...

Having now read both authors, I am convinced that John le Carré and Jilly Cooper are the same person writing under different pseudonyms.

Trying to find a new horror read that isn’t either extreme gore or a mediocre thriller with horror elements is proving harder than I thought it would.

Saw Sinners. It gave me an idea. I think I know what my next book is going to be.

Whilst I’m waiting for my current book to come back from the editor, I can’t help but contemplate the next. Should I go down the horror fantasy route or horror Sci fi?

Getting tempted to redownload LinkedIn and update it with the most wild shit. Has anyone used their online CV to market their book before?

Uploaded a vid to YouTube about my debut Horror book 📚🩸 if anyone is interested. youtu.be/LxRr4rxWhrg?...

How does anyone manage to advertise a book? Honestly.

Weighing up whether to do a series on famous insane asylums. An admittedly tenuous link to my book, but possibly quite interesting.

Once again running around my creepy local forest filming book content when I stumble upon a FREAKING SAW in the middle of the wood. If I am murdered by some lumberjack style villain, I will be pissed!

I’m surprised at how people think I’m a picky reader, just because I wasn’t exposed to certain genres from a young age. But I will happily read anything. Case in point. I recently finished a Five Nights at Freddy’s novel whilst simultaneously reading Riders by Jilly Cooper.

I miss plotting… for my novels, I mean. Not world domination. Although, I don’t think I would do that bad of a job, comparatively.

Yet another thing I need to remember a password for. Great.
