I've been practising the recorder quite a bit recently and am finally starting to sound decently musical on it. It's rather like the ukulele in that its reputation is mostly based on how it sounds when it's played badly, rather than what it's like when played well!

I've finally managed to find a copy of a record I've been looking for for ages! This was my 3rd great grandfather Dafydd John's favourite song. He passed away in 1894 so wouldn't have ever heard it on a record.

I received an audio CD-r today that was burned in 2000. I was worried it wouldn't be readable, but to my surprise it ripped without any errors on the first attempt! The data side of the disc is an unusual bright blue colour - apparently it's a special long-life type of CD-r.
