One of my great worries is sometimes thinking I'm too selfish. The wife provided the needed answer. "You gave up personal happiness and your dream (Gig Harbor) for family. I would say that's ultimate unselfishness."

Elkins Lake is great. It's awesome being close to family and friends again. But every time a Mariners game comes on and images of Seattle come on, homesickness sets in. Will never love living in a place like I did the PNW.

Today has to be better than yesterday Saw water coming out of our meter early. City came out and said it was further inside and to call a plumber Tree roots had grown against valve and line, crushing both. The only solution is to reroute and install another line. Goodbye 4k.

Reached a new level of lazy and sorry today when I ditched shaving with a blade for the first time in nearly half a century. Purchased a Panasonic Arc5 after reading good reviews. Supposedly gives a close shave in a fraction of the time of a blade. Also travel friendly.
