Recently,I got to thinking about my teenage bedroom. It was the early 1970s. I had wide, wavy, bright yellow stripes painted on the ceiling that flowed all the way down the walls. My bedspread and curtains were zebra stripes. It was “mod”! I’ve been LOL all morning over this 😆 #gelprint

I collected oak catkins and blister packs from allergy meds to use as texture for these prints. I figured I might as well use what is in abundance right now. BTW, the catkins leave little bits stuck to everything. #gelprint #art

Yesterday I bought 4 new tubes of paint in colors I didn’t already have. Today I’m just messing around with them. I get the feeling that buying paint and supplies for art is a lot like buying yarn and tools for knitting. I have loads of yarn and knitting tools. Yikes! #art #gelprint

One of the things that can be done with gel plate printing is image transfer from magazine pages. It is tricky. This is my best attempt so far. I added a pink background with texture. #gelplateprinting #art
