Discovered Mares of Thrace yesterday. Love their slow rhythmic riffs and the way the vocals are mixed over the instrumentals so they’re so clearly distinguishable from the background. The Exile (2022) is a good time all the way through.

I see pro Tom Cruise stuff on my timeline and here's a reminder: He's absolutely complicit in the abuses of the cult he's in. I'm not saying boycott his movies or anything, but he's not a great guy.

What’s got me head banging at my desk today? Fear of the Dark by Iron Maiden. It’s a classic, no doubt. Not a single skip on the album, just solid traditional heavy metal. Highlights are probably Afraid to Shoot Strangers and the title track for me.

Me? I have three types of TTRPG characters. - dumb shitty lil guy - naive and very religious but loves his friends - sad but likes animals

What’s got me headbanging in public today? Melancholy by Shadow of Intent Some really solid blast beats, and I particularly enjoy the two voice duet they’ve got going on in a lot of the vocals.

Enjoy this void

What’s got me head banging in public today? Alunea (2025) by Kardashev I’d never listened to death gaze before, but this album is so ethereal and raw - I’ve been enraptured for a few days.

I wanted religion for a modern, Earth-like world. Rather than reskinning the major ones, I asked a knowledgeable friend to break it down for me. If you want to construct a religion that isn't just the Greek gods in fresh clothes, check it out: www.mindstormpress.com/biblically-i... #osr #ttrpg

What’s got me head banging in public today? Relentless Mutation, by Archspire (2017) Feels weird to call tech death groovy, but it’s true.

Miss Universe Philippines has a mythology theme going on this year, which is great for anyone whose interests contain both monster girls and mahou shoujo villains (like yours truly).
