@tedleo.bsky.social Re: Fables of the Reconstruction shows. Are you doing lead vocals on any songs? I'd love to know what your favorite/top pick would be.

Judy Holliday is one of the best to ever do it.

I watched All The Right Moves yesterday. The movie came out seven years after the invention of the high-five (look it up.) You can really tell it is still in its early stages. The actors don't really have it down just yet. All the high-fives are pretty awkward.

No site is more contemptuous of its users than Facebook. I hate that the site where I go to know how my college friends are doing just wants me to be angry all the time. Imagine working for the @chanzuckerberg.bsky.social and knowing this is where your finding comes from. Garbage world.

@mtsw.bsky.social Trump take Bahama Breeze. www.usatoday.com/story/money/...

I really enjoyed Indiscreet. Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman are just delightful. letterboxd.com/timspc/film/...

The #Jeopardy category is "Cities Around the World", but, that's like where all cities are located.

@kenjennings.bsky.social Are you ever going to do that thing that Alex Trebek used to do where he goes to some foreign city and reads off a bunch of clues from there?

All-time terrible back-to-back gym songs right now:

There's a guy at the gym working out with a gaming headset.

I absolutely cannot wait to see One Battle After Another again.

I need to move to the least windy city in America.

I like preworkout because I love that feeling like I have an invisible facehugger.

Me car stopped before the wall, but then was hit by an oncoming truck from inside the painting.

I can't remember the last movie I've seen with tonal shifts as crazy as The Marrying Kind. At times wacky, at others it's deeply upsetting. letterboxd.com/timspc/film/...

They're playing "This Charming Man" at ShopRite.

Found out today that Thomas E. Dewey of "Dewey Defeats Truman" fame was basically 1940s @daveweigel.bsky.social.

It's pretty wild that Netflix doesn't have a movie older than 1972 and is also adding Russo slop is showing this today at the movie theater they own in Manhattan.

@kenjennings.bsky.social I just had an amazing idea: Influencer Jeopardy. Tell Davo.

Hmmm I'm going to try this: 1. Moonlight 2. Anora 3. Parasite 4. Spotlight 5. Oppenheimer 6. Everything Everywhere All at Once 7. CODA 8. Green Book 9. The Shape of Water 10. Nomadland

It's Hollywood's biggest night? Which star will shine the brightest?
