i actually hate gesture expressions lol. on pc it emulates hand tracking so they dont activate, but i turn gestures off on quest so i've got stiff barbie hands. i dont want to be going :O or D:< every time i shift my hand slightly on my controller. just give me a menu toggle to smile it's fine
