´Austen and Turner’ exhibition at #HarewoodHouse today was excellent - really worth a trip… the food fair less so.

Blimey - amazing and rather frightening thread:

Just been sent this picture of the #labyrinth I created in France last year. These are the guests of www.fonsegre.com enjoying a wander after breakfast this morning.

My #allotment Rhubarb produced this beautiful and very impressive flower - sadly now on the compost heap (apparently it’s not great to keep it on the plant) but I thought it should have it’s moment in the spotlight:

V good letter in The Guardian on Labour’s flailing hopelessness in the face of Reform. Come on, Labour. The country is crying out for better. We’re sick of this ugly rightwing agenda. It brings nothing but failure. It’s disloyal to your voters and to the country. You’ve got power and time. Use them.

Exciting visit to my #allotment from Aussie gardening guru Phil Dudman (Find him on insta: @Phildudmangardening) Learned about pruning plums and soil composition plus showed off my rhubarb!

I'm 99% of the way to getting my plaque from YouTube for 100k subscribers. That would be quite an achievement! Help me get there by subscribing or sharing with friends. It's all free! www.youtube.com/@thejaseguitar

This is just glorious:

Right - tonight’s the night I’m seeing this. Good luck Gary…. 😁

It was crying out for a photobomb…

Weekend in Londinium with eldest & her beau. Sunday sights include fantastic views over the city while walking on #HampsteadHeath and the (apparently) famous public lavatories at South End Green. #NeverADullMoment

Sunny walk through beautiful #York this morning in on my way to work with some lovely people, I had one of those ‘everything-is-right-with-the-world’ feelings …which, considering the actual state the world, shows I obviously excel in blind optimism and complete disregard for the facts.

Planting #trees in Nun Monkton today for my friend Adrian. This woodland will be part of the #NorthernForest with Birch, Oak, Cherry, Scots Pine and Hawthorn among the 450 trees.

This was an absolute joy. SJT is a wonderful venue producing fantastic entertainment - highly recommend this to lift the spirits: sjt.uk.com/events/loves...

Wise Children’s adaptation of Hitchcock’s classic at #YorkTheatreRoyal is enormous fun and is stylistically brilliant. Worth bagging a ticket here or on tour #Theatre #Theatresky @wisechildren.bsky.social

Mrs Frere (aka @micro-oiseau.bsky.social) and I will be attending the thee-atre tonight. We will of course dress for the occasion.
