Philip gave me this beautiful stained glass window for my birthday, maybe 20 years ago. Last year our gardeners ran into it and smashed it into hundreds of pieces. This past month, Philip miraculously managed to restore it by hand. 😊😊

It was 101° yesterday, and for some unfathomable reason we decided to go to the park. We had a lovely – albeit brief – time, although Gregory clearly wanted to get back into the air-conditioned car. Anyway, happy Monday, all! 😊

The original Broadway production of NINE opened on this day in 1982. I was 23 years old, and I was vocal director. It was my first professional job in NYC, and I’ll always be grateful to this extraordinary cast for their support and kindness. It was an amazing time.

Yesterday was a horrible workday, so at the end of it I said to Philip, “Let’s go hunting for movie stars’ former estates“ – because they’re scattered all over Palm Springs. We didn’t find any new ones, but we did find this giant mansion – which we decided must be the former home of Hedy Lamarr. 😊
