Once again the day was gorgeous all day while at work. As I went to leave the office a torrential downpour hit Soldotna. 20 mins after I walked through the door at home in Kenai BOOM rain starts here. I HAD PLANS TO WORK IN MY YARD TODAY, MOTHER NATURE.

He pitched a great game, coach pulled him early (not sure why, possibly to give other seniors a chance on the mound for senior night). SoHi beat their rivals the Palmer Moose 7-0! They are first in the division heading into Regions next weekend (which will be hosted by Grace Christian).

I've passed the 10K photo threshhold this spring sports season. TBF I'm following 3 kids in Jr/High School sports & I'm not just taking pics of THEM when it's a team sport. Most of the photos will end up being culled bc who really needs 500 of the same at bat swings but unculled I'm just over 10K.

Welp... Redington High School Baseball just got creamed by the Soldotna Stars (again)... ending score was Redington 0, SoHi 15 (and they only played 4.5 innings. Mercy rule was called at bottom of 4th but they have to get to 5 innings for it to count in conference play).

10 years ago (next month) I rescued this little boy from the Kenai Animal Shelter. Today we celebrated Rescue Dog Day. 😍 it was a boring one bc of rain, so we got in extra snuggles. Im guessing he still loved today.

A friend's mom and mom's dog were trampled by a moose this morning. They didnt see the moose until it was on top of them. The dog didnt make it, mom made it away to safety. THESE GIANT MURDER NINJA PONIES ARE NO JOKE! This time of year they are extra murderous as they prepare to birth mini murders

It's not the best pic bc of the reflection but a bird full on body splat against my parents' window today. By the size we think it was most likely a robin. No sign of the bird on the ground so it must have flown off.
