Watching the #EU/UKPressConference today I was disappointed but not surprised at the line of questioning from the British media. What is the fixation with the fishing industry. Only around 6000 employees and a minimal contributor to UK GDP of less than 1%. 1/2

#bbcqt Will the BBC Question Time programme producer politely tell presenter Fiona Bruce to shut the f*ck up. Numerous interuptions while the Labour Government panelist was answering the first question. Fiona Bruce thinking the show is about her.....again!

#BBCPolitics at it again. It's only Wednesday but twice this week they've booked a GB"News" presenter to appear on their panel. Is it the BBC's intention to turn Aunty into a version of GB"News" but with GCSE's. It's beginning to look like it.

@dawnneesom.bsky.social of @gbnewsonline.bsky.social on today's #PoliticsLive again. Im still struggling to fathom why #BBCNews continue to have on their programmes panellists who would gladly see The BBC defunded and shut down. The Beeb will never please these people so why keep on trying?.

1 / #American's always like to see themselves in an heroic role. Always the good guys standing up for "The American way". So my question is, are American's aware of how their country now looks to the outside world. Lifting people off the street and deporting them without any trace of due process.

Unusually I had a good feeling after watching #BBCQuestionTime on Thursday night. #ReformUK's #RichardTice was on the panel and the audience in #Hull didn't give him an easy ride. He was reduced to constantly interrupting and talking over his fellow panellists AND members of the audience.

When Anrea Jenkyns talks of taking Britain back to it's glorious past is she referering to the days when the bosses lived in big houses while the humble workers toiled for a pittance and should consider themselves lucky to be paid such a pittance. How can people vote for such a moron?

Just got home and turned on the tv. @news.sky.com showing #TheTrumpCabinet's meeting. I wonder if those members of that Cabinet will be be able to look back in years to come without a sense of shame and embarrassment. Prostrating themselves before a low life convict like #Trump is just shameful.

@yvettecooper-mp.bsky.social was doing the morning media round today (Tuesday). I've heard that she refused to go onto @gbnewsonline.bsky.social. If that's true then all I can say is, well done to her.

I went to my first @liverpoolfc1.bsky.social game on 10 August 1968. Liverpool beat Manchester City. Today we beat Spurs and are now English Champions for the twentieth time. Hears to welcoming those new players who are coming in summer, and to a better season next year when we'll make it No. 21.

It's that time of year again. The Television & Radio Industries Club (TRIC) awards are almost upon us. Once again @gbnewsonline.bsky.social are pleading for their miniscule number of viewers to vote for them. None of the other programmes nominated will be begging like this.

@rorycj.bsky.social In the past I have worked for several American based companies. Their approach to a persons data seems very different to that of UK and EU companies. When a US firm holds someones personal data, they believe that data is theirs and can be used in whatever way they choose.

#SkyNews are showing the beginning of the latest #USCabinet meeting. Don't know why but I feel sick for the men and women who make up The Cabinet. How can they stand to just spew out platitudes praising Trump at the start of their remarks. Kissing Trumps ring is right but not the ring on his finger.
