Over in the Darkening Land my handle was cherokeeredbird. Literally, totsuwa is Redbird, in Cherokee. It was a nickname given to me by Wilma Mankiller, due to my sunburn at the Cherokee National Holiday. If you knew cherokeeredbird over there, you know me.

I drove a total of 25 miles today in Pope County, Arkansas. In that space, I saw at least 6 businesses that had been operated by Hispanic people. All are closed and empty. So, less industry, less tax income for the county. Fewer shops to do all the nasty jobs no one else wants to do. This sucks.
