We are likely witnessing the end of the modern Republican Party. From here, it becomes the vessel of authoritarianism, it reinvents itself from within or a third party rises to end it. Trump can't live forever and with the clock ticking, the Republican Party has reached its final hour.

Off topic for me. The NFL's Jacksonville Jags should draft Shadeur Sanders now that his price has fallen. He already has chemistry with their new WR, he'd could be a change of pace QB, like Taysom Hill, and he could push TLaw. He'd also make that franchise visible and sell jerseys.

The strategy of cutting needed staff and budget only to reverse course in a public way because a favorable media outlet points out a mistake doesn't instill the confidence investors will need to trust the US again. Unfortunately, it seems this administration doesn't care how foolish it looks.

To me, there's no better example of the loss of value in our media than the inability to recognize and endlessly hound the administration that debasing the dollar will increase inflation. When our money is worth less, things cost more is very simple economic concept.
