From Bluesky to the Guardian! In my new op-Ed, I argue that the “male glaze” of media and politics is empirically, normative, and politically wrong and that progressives should focus more on the left turn of young women.

I will post this everyday to remind us. She was always right!

Today, our client Rümeysa Öztürk was released on bail from ICE detention in Louisiana, and she will return to New England to continue her studies. 📸 Giancarlo D’Agostaro

1/4. On the White House’s theory, if they abduct you, get you on a helicopter, get to international waters, shoot you in the head, and drop your corpse into the ocean, that is legal, because it is the conduct of foreign affairs.

Well, at least there was some good news today

1/4. If the US were engaged in an attempt to bring peace to Ukraine, it would place more tariffs on Russia, rather than exempt Russia entirely.

NEW: The Supreme Court took 6 months to decide immunity, but just 6 days to effectively strip the rest of us of due process. My latest: www.muellershewrote.com/p/the-corrup...

In Hegseth’s case, the email account has been used in the past several days. So “it is thus conceivable that foreign agents were privy to the Signal chat group….”

If you're a journalist in the US and you're not speaking out against the ongoing killing of Palestinian journalists, at record levels, by a US-funded foreign military, then you should hang your head in shame.

You cannot make this shit up. Sharing this jaw-dropping story with a gift link -- give it a read.

A 21-year-old Columbia University student who has lived in the United States since she was a child sued President Trump and other high-ranking administration officials on Monday after immigration officials tried to arrest and deport her. Yunseo Chung participated in a Barnard sit-in this month.

Read this declaration. A professional soccer player has been imprisoned in El Salvador and forced into hard labor on the basis of soccer-related tattoos and a single, innocent hand gesture. This is why the administration is withholding due process. It knows its targets could prove their innocence.

NEW today from @miamiherald.com: more men sent to El Salvador on Saturday have been identified by their families, including a 27-year-old who entered legally at a port of entry in 2023 through the CBP One app and a 29-year-old father of a baby born here last year. Neither have any criminal record.

I kept speaking anyways. I won’t let these neo-fascists stop me from telling the truth. Right after winning the election, Trump created a meme coin to grift off of the American people yet they want to focus on cutting Medicaid for kids.

Johnson: "Elon's cracked the code. He's now inside these agencies. He's created these algorithms that are constantly crawling through the data & as he told me in his office, data doesn't lie. We're gonna be able to get the information. We're gonna be able to transform the way federal govt works."

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source. Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

Without going all Martin Niemöller here, I do think that it's bad not to speak up for immigrants, transgender Americans, civil servants, women, Ukraine, and everyone else the MAGA bullies are going after. We're beyond picking and choosing whom to defend. It's time to stand up and speak out.

The National Press Club just sent out this statement on the White House blocking an AP reporter today: "Today’s action by the White House is a direct attack on press freedom....The role of the press is not to take orders from the government but rather to hold the government accountable."

⚠️ DOGE staffer Edward Coristine was fired for leaking info from a data-security firm. He later bragged he retained access to the firm’s system. He was also on law enforcement radar for communicating in an online chat room with an alleged hacker under investigation. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
