Halfway toward my reading goal of 200 books in 2025. #BookSky Would gladly accept recommendations, preferably fantasy. I want to laugh, maybe cry, and forget reality for at least two days. 📚

Only a few chapters in, and I’m already loving this book. Surprisingly funny so far. #BookSky 📚

Speaking of being in your “no fucks left to give” stage: Let’s hear it for tge Greenville elders!

Hell yeah it is! That is 4% of your population!! It’s takes 3.5% of a country’s population to stop fascism in its tracks. Doing your part and then some, Aiken!

Protesting in Beaufort, SC. Also saw some in SAV, GA. It made my heart happy. #News

Watched Anastasia on Disney with a friend, and they became hyper focused on Russian history enough to make a chart displaying similarities between then and the USA today. Here’s the screenshots. #Neurodivergent #History #News

This series was a very fun read. Definitely goes into my favorite pile. 📚 #BookSky

Searching for something light hearted with some humor, preferably a fantasy series. Any recommendations #BookSky? 📚

Women are unsafe on a daily basis - statistically due to men they already know. Want to make women safer? Change rape laws, fund refuges properly, end femicide, address misogyny in boys and men, improve healthcare. Taking aim at trans women does nothing to make women safer.

Every feminist I know supports their sisters, cis and trans, and their non-binary siblings, concerned with domestic violence, public safety, equal pay, employment protection, access to healthcare, and other discrimination issues. Obsessing over who uses which loo isn't feminism. It's bigotry.

April 25th. I’ve been waiting so long for this book. 📚

Samantha Shannon’s The Bone Season series has me making unsettling comparisons to today’s politics—while also stress-bingeing snacks like my sanity depends on it. #BookSky 📚🥐🍩☕️

About half of all births are covered by Medicaid. Over a third of all children are covered by Medicaid. More than half of all nursing home residents are covered by Medicaid. Republicans in Congress are making a big mistake targeting these families’ health care to pay for tax cuts for the rich.

Everything she does is so majestic. #Cats

Another quick read. Mixed feelings about this one. The first line had me hooked and it started off so strong. Sadly, The FMC went from giving Fiona from Shameless to giving young Sansa Stark from GOT. It was interesting enough to finish but I’m not sure I’ll read book 2. We‘ll see. #BookSky 📚

Reading this book felt like hiking up a mountain trail. I almost didn’t finish it a couple of times, but there was just enough curiosity to keep me going. I’m glad I did. #BookSky 📚

Rewatching Dragon Ball is my comfort hobby

Just picked these up from the library. The librarian might know me better than I know myself. 📚#BookSky #SupportLibraries

While I work on this year's valentine, here's last year's.

Your wrapping and ribbons are vibrant, pristine Mine are tattered, torn but clean Maybe that means you have more shine For yours have felt less weather than mine But the most important detail of all Is we are both gifts and gratitude serves all #PoetrySky #BookSky 📚

Sometimes I just close my eyes and reach for a new book. I avoid the cover and all details for as long as possible while reading. It makes every book a little more mysterious. #BookSky
