Future Hurricanes Center Connor McDavid

Me when I don't make it up a cliff face in time in Tears of the Kingdom

If the Panthers close this out, Reinhart's going to give Marchand a run for his money on the Conn Smythe. He's been pulling insane ish like this the entire playoffs.

If I were a VFX artist, I would push for a strike on the weakness of this clip alone. The industry is putting these animators under impossible strains and forcing them to push out effects that would have been considered awful even 20 years ago.

It's time to find a primary challenger to Kirsten Gillibrand at the first opportunity.

Apropos of nothing, it is pretty incredible how Jessica Ramos turned her back on NYers with her Cuomo endorsement and watched her campaign and support completely vanish at supersonic speed. Worse than criticizing her for not showing up to defend Lander today... no one noticed her absence.

Like I said earlier: Brad Lander is a real mensch. Puts the focus on the person who really needs it, shrugs off the brutality he underwent trying to protect him. NYC, this is the kind of leadership we both need and deserve.

Proud to have ranked Zellnor, proud to see him stand with his fellow challengers to call this out.

It's time to continue mobilizing, NYC. This kidnapping cannot stand.

Zohran Mamdani was one of the first people (forget candidates) to show up and demand the release of Brad Lander, a proud Jewish man in a city that loves and values its Jewish community. Andrew Cuomo, the guy spending millions to call Mamdani an antisemite in the press, is nowhere to be found.

Bingo. Brad Lander is practicing actual politics. Also, the people who are accusing him of creating a spectacle as idle analysis are speaking out of ignorance. Lander has been vociferous in his support of immigrants his entire political career. In the highest sense of the word, he is a mensch.

For anyone calling Lander's presence at immigration court a "stunt". He was also one of the New Yorkers who showed up in Newark to protest Ras Baraka's kidnapping. This is what Brad does. It's why NYC is proud of him. And it's why we'll continue to be proud of him in the face of Gestapo targeting.

At minimum, the NYC City Council should introduce legislation at their next stated meeting to compel city officials to bar ICE from our courts.

Between his 2019 run with the Raptors and what he's doing now for the Pacers, we really need to start talking about Pascal Siakam as one of the most underrated NBA players of all time.

It is not an overstatement to characterize what Cuomo did as sacrificing New Yorkers in assisted living during COVID. In practice, his policies achieved what the Lt. Gov. of Texas went on TV and said our elders should do during the pandemic. DON'T RANK CUOMO

Easy Rider (1969) - Dir. Dennis Hopper

Y'ALL The NYC Cocktail Party Circuit is *scared* scared of the coalition against Cuomo. They're trying a full court press during early voting to dissuade New Yorkers from voting in their self-interest. We never made them take Wiley seriously in 2021, but we have them SHOOK now. DON'T RANK CUOMO

On the contrary; I only become more embarrassing

The real autocracy is taking away power from anyone who attends a cocktail party in NYC or Washington *heavy sarcasm

Exec: "Sir, we're not selling enough blue paint." CEO: "That's a serious issue. Marketing team, any ideas?" Marketing: "Have you tried calling it Patriot Paint and telling gullible dipshits it can repel space lasers?" CEO: "Well look who just earned another bonus!"

I am trying not to feel hopeful, because being educated on the Classics means I never forget "Hope" was in Pandora's Jar, but I did the thing today and voted in the NYC primaries. I've been telling people "DON'T RANK CUOMO" since February, and let me tell you, it felt like a relief.

Lalas has always been a complete dumbass, but we knew he was - at best - a jingoist when he led the charge to undercut Jurgen Klinsmann's genuinely forward-thinking stewardship of the USMNT. He deservea a large share of the blame for pushing out our most successful modern manager.

I know people feel scared, and I encourage all of you to be vigilant, but I want to remind people of something that I think is both crucial and being missed: Yesterday was about mobilization. Those in favor of liberty out-mobilized autocracy ~100:1, and they did so with far more energy
