In case you missed it, in all the bad news (as I did): the FDA is apparently not updating the covid vax (from JN.1, in the M. & P. vaxxes) to inc. newer strains, this fall. Yet another way to undermine confidence in vax efficacy, as well as the actual vax efficacy. www.medscape.com/viewarticle/...

I would like to see more academics and less american-style pundits on CBC, CTV and other Canadian news channels. Canadians need unbiased facts, not opinions from commentators/pundits. Pundits are not reporters. Inform Canadians and fact check information is needed. #cdnpoli

When mask mandates were enacted to try and save lives, the right screamed about freedom. When mask bans were passed? They celebrated. Because it’s not about freedom. With vaccine mandates, they screamed about autonomy. When vaccines get restricted, they cheer. Because it’s not about autonomy.

Unironically they should buy up the domains for about 60 defunct local newspapers in swing states. Hire two reporters to write almost exclusively about highschool sports and new restaurants opening with every 10th article about how the local GOP is screwing over people.

This. If someone can show me scientific evidence that SARS-Cov2 is actually harmless and isn't destroying brains and organs and blood vessels and causing aggressive cancers, then I will relax precautions. But that evidence doesn't exist. Everyone ignoring this virus is doing it soley on vibes.
