Selling off national parks to private corporations is theft — of land, ecosystems, and public trust. Once they’re sold, they’re stripped, drilled, mined, and wrecked. And most of that damage can’t be undone.

The same people who yelled DEI means Didn’t Earn It just hired a FEMA Director who did not know the US has a hurricane season…I need to laugh to keep myself from crying. Another merit based hire.

According to AP, the typical pay package for S&P 500 CEOs rose to $17M last year — an increase of 9.7%. At half of the companies surveyed, it would take the median worker 192 years to make what the CEO did in one year.  This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.

Trump's hypocrisy exposed...

Sesame Street can't stop taking W's lately

Supporting living wages is common sense. Someone working full time should be able to afford housing, groceries, and bills with their paycheck alone. That’s not controversial or radical, arguing against it is.

For Handmaid’s Tale fans.

My Iris are finally blooming. #bloomscrolling

None. Absolutely none of the employers of the ICE victims removed from their place of employment are being prosecuted by the DOJ?

Andry José Hernández Romero, I remember you, even if I do not know how to articulate my horror, rage, & sorrow at your treatment by my government. No one has heard from you in 78 days. As vigil, I’m posting a photo (& today a video) of you every day until you are returned from El Salvador.

This is the same shit that’s happening in Huntington Beach, and the goal is to make being a member of the LGBTQ+ community illegal. We need to fight against it wherever it pops up.

In an era where truth is treated as treason, NPR dons its armour and goes to war against Trump's executive order. A lawsuit not just for funding, but for the freedom of the press. A battle waged not in ink, but in principles. The pen mightier than the sword, indeed. #3E

Pity he wasn't jailed. Will he ever be? Let's keep our fingers crossed.

What's in the Trump/GOP big, beautiful bill? -Tax cuts skewed to the rich -Medicaid & SNAP cuts -Ends IRS Direct File -New powers for Trump over the courts -Blocks state/local regulation against AI, including rent-gouging software like RealPage It's a big, ugly nightmare.

Hungary's Orbán struts as a "Christian conservative Disneyland" while descending press freedom rankings and leading the EU in corruption. The US nods, seemingly eager to import this brand of illiberalism. Democracy, meet your funhouse mirror. #3E

Repost if you agree

Hiding their faces, hiding their names by using pens to hold their pocket flaps up, hiding their names. ICE agents have “consciousness of guilt,” know they are committing crimes. They need to be unmasked, named, and charged #UnmaskICE

Please read, this is important. Sorry it’s long. Trump’s move to have Elon Musk step aside wasn’t a retreat. It was a distraction. With Musk’s name out of the headlines, many assumed the controversial Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) had quietly ended. It hasn’t. It’s just changed hands.

Raskin: This is a gangster state. This is not basically a legitimate government that is sometimes doing corrupt things. This is an essentially corrupt enterprise. It's like watching The Sopranos. Every day, they get up and they try to figure out how to plunder and pillage the people

This was today… Sotally tober… NYT clearly way off base…

Oralè Resisters Life was never the same after MASH ended. Thank you for the memories RIP. #HotLips

I mean, yeah, but hopefully not until after we’ve lived a good long life. Joni doesn’t seem to want that for us 😕

I don’t know how many times we have to say this, but the U.S. government is not a business and shouldn’t be run like one. It’s a service—for the people.

Deregulation. Privatization. Tax cuts. Free trade. Stagnant pay for most. A soaring stock market for the top. That’s the legacy of neoliberalism. Don’t buy revisionist attempts to rehabilitate it. https://robertreich.substack.com/p/the-tragic-history-of-neoliberalism

While Stephen Miller publishes the faces of the judges that struck down Trump’s unlawful tariffs, his own goons in ICE refuse to show theirs out of fear of being publicly identified. If our judges are brave enough to face MAGA threats with their faces showing, ICE should not hide behind masks.

Not hardened criminals. Not criminals. People. Some are legal residents, some are citizens. All deserve Due Process

The war on science and expertise is now in full swing.

Trumplethinskin doesn’t like his new nickname you say?

The reality that masked men without proper identification are confronting and arresting and taking away people should be intolerable to anyone who calls themselves American.
