more than a relationship to a given record, my dad gave me a relationship to music. he has a massive tape collection, many copied from tapes and cds he borrowed from the library. his taste is eclectic - mostly metal, folk, psychedelia, and punk, but he was always delighted to listen to something new

I say this from time to time but the Jewish population remaining is, broadly, 42% in America, 42% in Israel, and 16% in the rest of the world (mostly Europe). We cannot subordinate the pluralistic model of Jewish survival to the nationalistic one, but that’s what ADL stands for now.
