It's honestly hard to make the case that Sesko should be our primary target given that we need to deliver in the next season or two - it's not about building for the long term at the moment.

Here is how I think we line up next season. Expect that we sign a striker and DM, maybe a winger if the club feels Jesus is completely not an option. Can this team win the Premier League?

Lovely to see Kai back. A lot of #Arsenal fans were down on him, but hopefully they realize just how much he offers this team now that's he's been out for a few months.

Draw today, win at Southampton guarantees #Arsenal 2nd place, right?

Stat from Opta: Declan Rice has now scored more goals for Arsenal (16 in 102 games) than he did for West Ham (15 in 245 games)

One of my takeaways so far is that you take your best players out of the team, and you look significantly worse. Newcastle with Isak is a completely different team than without him. So keep this in mind when you judge #Arsenal's season

WHAT. A. HIT. Rice is an absolute monster, what a wonderful player.

Maybe someone more data savvy will tell me I'm wrong but it *feels* like #Arsenal play their core players way more than other teams, and this results in too many of these types of performances where players looks absolutely exhausted.

This game is #Arsenal's season in a nutshell: decent in most areas, excellent in none. Some promise going forward, but no cutting edge. Defensively solid, yet still a few wobbles.

Not a penalty for me

This is so nice to see lmao

As a free agent he’d be worth a punt for most premier league clubs. Would be a starter for at least half the clubs in the prem and would get solid minutes for the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle…

Worst time to leave for Mother’s Day festivities with the wife. Happy wife > watching #Arsenal especially today.

Is finishing top 5 and going out in the semi finals a "good" season? Is it better to finish 17th like United/Spurs might, but win the #UEL? Or finishing 6th, but winning the League Cup?

I think a lot of #Arsenal supporters gave up on this season when Havertz got injured, I know some got there even earlier when Saka and Odegaard got hurt. But it seems the players have now officially given up on this season as well.

#Arsenal missing out on Champion's League football at the end of this cursed season would be the ultimate cherry on top of this pile of shit that we call our domestic campaign.

#Arsenal have a lot of work to do to make up for the failures of the last few transfer windows. Definitely Out: Neto, Jorginho, Tierney, Sterling, Partey, Nelson, Tavares Probably Out: Zinchenko, Tomiyasu, Lokonga, Vieira, Marquinhos

To put in in perspective, #Arsenal are one of the top 4 teams in Europe, and still on course to finish runners-up in the most competitive domestic league in Europe. Losing sucks, losing hurts, but let's not lose sight of how far we've come.

#Arsenal is a good team, but we're not good enough to win trophies. It's as simple as that. I know injuries played a huge part, but we have been below our standard way too often to truly compete for trophies.

PSG vs Barcelona is gonna be one hell of a #UCL final!

3 wins in the last 10 games in the Premier League. Not good enough. Paying the price for some bad luck with injuries but also incredibly hopeful and shortsighted squad planning. Can't expect to go deep in 2-3 competitions with the same 14 players.

This has to be one of the least enjoyable Premier League campaigns in the context of how much was expected from us this season. Completely shitting the bed
