he had to stand around threateningly as a cop, then joined the secret service and had to stand around waiting for threats that never come, then he was on fox making up threats that weren't real, and now he has an actual job for the first time in his life and it's killing him, and it should speed up

Here's more data behind that generational gap in representation. While 38% of Democratic voters are Millennials/Gen Z, they make up just 11% of Congress—and 0% of House leadership. Baby Boomers are 30% of voters but 67% of leadership. The party's power structure is detached from its voting base.
