The point of this behavior is not that she erroneously believes Barbra Banda to be trans - perhaps she does, perhaps she doesn't. The point is to enshrine the idea that it is wealthy white patrician women like her who get the privilege of deciding who "counts" as a woman. Who is "allowed."
