White dude here, it was Obama. It was definitely Obama. The combo-breaker that interrupted the 43 white presidents streak, and the fact there was a black man in the white house AS THE BOSS was the "final straw" for a lot of closet racists. Mind you this was a long time coming -since Reagan at least.

Nat Guard/DHS threw tear gas canisters and smoke grenades into the crowd. Protesters and media hit. Pellet rounds deployed. All to seemingly clear path for a convoy of DHS/Border Patrol vehicles. I got hit but fine after an eye rinse.
