There hasn't been a single game in my life where I've thought, "Man I wish could ask this NPC absolutely anything I want and they'd respond." Even if I had, it'd be novel for about 2 minutes. I'll take 50 handcrafted lines from an actual writer than 1 million from a glorified chat bot any day.

The Bracket image leaves a lot of the nuance (from the article) about player intent out of the conversation. I, with input from the available members of the CFP, reworked the image to include it. Ask yourself, "What is the intent of this deck? What kind of experience am I looking for?"

Me and my first Commander 🧡 I wanted a way to play my two favourite cards at the time; Ajani's Pridemate and Chasm Skulker. It had other such multiformat all-stars, like Alabaster Potion 🙃 I still have the deck! It's almost completely different now, but there's still room for Chasm Skulker 🦑

A work-in-progress, depicting "Preferred Pace", by color pair, over time. Preferred Pace is: average game length (# of turns) in wins - average in losses. It's an attempt to measure where on the aggro-control spectrum a given archetype lies. The facets here are ordered by pace.
