Vermont State Police say one person is dead, and one is severely injured after a crash on Rte 2 near Savage Point Rd. in North Hero.

Border Patrol said in a statement to WCAX that Migrant Justice leader Jose Ignacio De La Cruz, and his stepdaughter, Heidy Perez, are both citizens of Mexico, and have no legal immigration status in the United States.
