it's really interesting how technically the most fitting descriptor for polaris is "scripting language" but i'm kind of hesitant to use that in practice because most ""scripting languages"" aren't actually very good at scripting

I'm going to subtweet some people. If you grew up in the US and Canada (and probably elsewhere), and especially if you went to church, you're probably familiar with "sponsor a child" charities, or Operation Christmas Child. There's a bunch of them, and maybe the most well-known is World Vision.
