#soapsky 1980: WSB-TV 2 and WXIA-TV were switching affiliates. 2 would be the ABC affiliate and 11 would become the NBC affiliate. But for a period in that year, both stations split each network's daytime schedules. 2 was still airing NBC's earlier shows. So #Days was still on 2's schedule.

I think if P&G didn’t have baggage when it came to past lesbian and gay soap pairings and affection it might not have been as irksome or as questionable to some people, especially in the beginning. That’s NOT BTG’s fault, but I think it just reminded folks of that and it made some of us antsy.
