A level history question, anno 2050. 'To what extent was the demise of the Conservative party in Britain due to a succession of ducking useless Prime Ministers/party leaders? For extra marks answer the supplementary question 'why in God's name did they choose them'?

One of the strangest ironies of the last ten years has been watching Britain immersing itself as deeply as ever in memories of WW2 while proudly turning its back on the project that emerged from it.

I know Welby goes on to say that his own position is not important in this regard but I genuinely cannot get my head around Welby saying he would forgive a man who did not seek forgiveness or admit to his crimes and did absolutely nothing in terms of apology let alone recompense.

The National Security Advisor is an incompetent liar, and the Secretary of Defense is a drunk incompetent liar.

I am voting no on the CR. Trump and Musk are taking a wrecking ball to vital services for veterans, seniors and kids. I will not support a bill that helps them do it. I will support a clean 30 day CR.
