Metallica fans: Metro is ready to get you home after the show tomorrow, even if it runs past normal service hours! 🤘 Morgan Boulevard & Downtown Largo will be the only stations open for entry. Other stations will be exit only.

Over the long weekend, our crews performed track work on the Orange, Blue, and Silver lines between Eastern Market and Cheverly/Addison Road. Here they are at Stadium-Armory repairing grout pads. Now on to three weeks of no planned track work!

Green Line: Expect delays in both directions because of a signal problem at U Street.

Tomorrow, on Memorial Day: 🚇 Metrorail will be open from 7 a.m. - midnight.   🚌 Metrobus will operate on a Sunday schedule.   🚐 MetroAccess customers may make a reservation, but subscription trips will be canceled.   👍 Normal weekday fares will be in effect on the holiday.

We’re dedicated to keeping your ride safe, smooth, and on time. That’s why we conduct daily track inspections between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., outside of rush hours. Track inspections are designed to catch abnormalities within the tracks including crossties and the third rail.
