The working class has always worked for America. It’s time for America to work for us. We have a list of demands for the Democratic Party pinned to our page - it's time they worked for us too.

Tariffs can affect the cost of everything that goes into the things we buy. If Poland Springs gets a percentage of their plastics from foreign sources, for instance, they'll have to raise their prices too. Many, many US industries rely on foreign sources of goods and materials for their products.

Trump Tariffs time! Y'all ready for the market open? The markets are unpredictable but we can count on one thing: they're going to liberate a lot of hard working Americans of their money.

It’s like Watergate, only in this version Nixon directly mails the tapes to Woodward and Bernstein

This Hegseth crisis shows why you nominate (AND CONFIRM!) experts instead of bootlickers. Checks and balances are critically important to a functioning state and when someone like Trump surrounds himself with loyalist yes-men instead of experts it's inevitable that shit like this happens.

AOC is so good at this

I think it’s worth sending this clip to every left leaning person in your life, especially if they’re still giving money to Democrats. Schumer doesn’t understand the crisis we’re in and he’s failing the country.

Pump this into my veins

Real change starts with simple actions. Three things you can do now to stand up to MAGA.

@schumer.senate.gov Hi Senator. You put in some good years but it's time for a change - a major one. We've put together a list of our demands for the Democratic Party leadership and a playbook to get the party back on track so it can win back the trust of the people.

We have two chances here for this admin to cross a red line - either SCOTUS permits MAGA to deport without review, or they don't and Trump does it anyway. Let's pray someone comes to their senses here.

Brings a tear to the eye

I think what is making everyone so angry isn’t just the cowardice of Senate Democrats, it’s their cowardice in comparison to the random normal person who runs for school board to oust a Moms for Liberty freak

The Good Place Committee needs to be run out of their jobs, one by one, until none of them are left.

We need to make sure this changes. And we start by making the DNC feel our fury.

If your excuse as an elected official, here in 2025, for not doing something that is in the interest of Dems who elected you is that Republicans might weaponize it, you are not living in 2025. They are going to weaponize anything you do, either way. They have demonstrated this over and over.

These Dems have shown that they do not understand the seriousness of the situation we are in and cannot be counted upon in the future.

Just to reinforce what Jen is saying - Schumer and the Dems who voted for the CR did so AGAINST THE WISHES of the workers who it will affect the most.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

This is a terrible take. The public knows who controls the gov't and would understand that it's a MAGA shutdown. So every day of the shutdown, with the services people rely on down, you get out there and remind people that this is what MAGA wants to permanently do to the government.

If you’re pissed about Sen. Chuck Schumer caving to Trump and Elon Musk, take the pledge to boycott contributions to all Senate Democrats until they replace him as leader: chng.it/mZgjGv9rS9

From inside the DoD: “Schumer's bungling over the past two months & creation of this lose-lose scenario is a complete dereliction of his duties. This was the sole moment where they had any real potential leverage to stand up and fight for the Constitution & they completely blew it from day 1.”

These are the same Senate Democrats who lectured the base for years about the importance of preserving the filibuster so it would still be available when Democrats were in the minority

Bernie Sanders: "If you do nothing, you sit back and say, 'it's gonna be terrible.' And that's right. A shutdown will be terrible. But our job is to put the onus on the Republican president, the Republican House, the Republican Senate, the people who control the govt"

We need more Democrats like Pritzker who can speak simply about the issues and understand how to relate that to the struggles working Americans face.

Absolutely an inspiration to those of us hoping to broaden the fight against the billionaire takeover of our country.
