Just sitting here thinking about why no mechanic or engineer in star wars ever thought to give R2D2 a voice

Luxembourg, Estonia and Italy are getting my votes!

It's Eurovision night! I like both Estonia and Luxembourg so far, but the night is young!

I am currently in the process of moving my website over to Substack - just waiting for the whole domain move to happen. In the meantime, if you want to subscribe - that would be amazing. I've added some of my older articles, and one new one -> voletic.substack.com/p/clair-obsc...

Just finished series 3 of Succession. It really does live up to the hype!

Finished Expedition 33 and got the platinum. What a rollercoaster

New post! Narrative Exhaustion: The Franchise Fatigue Phenomenon 🥱 Reboots, sequels, and spin-offs... oh my. The franchise formula that once dominated Hollywood is declining fast. Is it time for a farewell or a chance for change? Link below! ⬇️

Clair Obscura might be the best JRPG I've played in a very long time. I love the combat system, the story, the music, the characters, the way it rewards exploration (and actually feels like exploring) the way things progress. I'm placing it above metaphor in terms of my recent JRPGs. It's awesome

Going to see Thunderbolts today. Can't believe they finally made a sequel to Thunderpants

New post! The Wonder of Oners 🎬 I’ve been watching the new comedy series The Studio on Apple TV. In the second episode, a comedy of errors highlights how challenging a oner can be. This got me thinking; is a oner a badge of honour or is it a flashy gimmick made to impress? Link below! ⬇️

Many, Clair Obscura is so good

Clair Obscura feels like a turning point in the gaming industry. A small start up studios of around 30 people have crafted a game that competes with all the big dogs - focusing on a story driving, single player experience. It feels like the mid 2000s when we had loads of PS2 RPGs. Love it.

Just watched the film 'All my friends hate me'. Hard to talk much about it without giving it a way, but I thought it was a great film

Oh man. Clair Obscura sets up the stakes of the game so well.

Want to play Clair Obscur this weekend. But need to decide, PC or PS5?

Watching the latest series of You. Really like how this show has evolved
