I seek solace in the crimson sunrise that splashes the east with beauty; that paints the canvas of my heart. I brush my thoughts with the elegant breeze that translates my ideas to art. Colors of nature, at ease, entice…laden with hues of heaven. ~Saravana Kumar Murugan, Shades of Life #JoyAbounds

Glanced out of my daughter’s window and noticed how the table umbrella, in the background, was so similar to the gnomes hat. I know….I am way too easily amused. #WindowsOnWednesday

This photo, taken by my daughter, may be a rather dark and moody one. She was standing on the balcony looking downriver. The Hudson River revealed many of her moods to us during the years we were blessed to view her. #riverlandscape

best preacher that ever was, dear star, that just happens to be where you are in the universe to keep us from ever-darkness, to ease us with warm touching, to hold us in the great hands of light– good morning, good morning, good morning ~~Mary Oliver

If future generations are to remember us more with gratitude than sorrow, we must achieve more than just the miracles of technology. We must leave them a glimpse of the world as it was created, not just as it looked when we were done Lyndon B. Johnson ~Photo unknown #AlphabetChallenge #WeekTforTime
