I wish the adoption rate of @bsky.app was a bit faster… we need to spread the word and try to get the app to be a contender for X. I know many people are content with the quality of the content here as opposed to X, but conversations can drive quality.

I love how #OpenAI found evidence of #DeepSeek using their models for AI training, yet, OpenAI used a bunch of copyrighted material all over the web to train theirs… of that isn’t poetic justice, I don’t know what is… 🙂

Today I deleted #instagram and #facebook from my phone. I’m convinced that the TikTok ban is driven by meta’s lobby and their push to remove a strong competitor from the U.S. market and I can’t support representatives that don’t represent. The U.S. people clearly wants TikTok.

I mean, I love VMWare and I was amazed the first time I used VMs back in the early 2000’s but Broadcom is destroying that company. I hope they re-evaluate their business practices, otherwise, I am starting to look at OpenShift in a very friendly way!

Facebook continues to annoy me with silly notifications in order to force me to open the app to clear them. This tactic is going to blow on their face as people will reduce their footprint by leaving groups they don’t engage with or turning off notifications that are superfluous. #facebook
