The fact that they say this is meant to be a cost cutting measure when in actuality most of the costs of recruitment is in the fact that most companies advertising aren't actually hiring & are merely using it as a way to placate employees, manipulate shareholders or aggregate data is shameful

The constant enshittification of League of Legends now kinda makes me sad. Yes it’s based on maintaining the lie of infinite growth but I also think it’s from a failure to convert Arcane fans to League. Which no duh. League is drenched in toxic esport sweat.

I'd go a lil' further. The main tech disruptions have been Netflix, Spotify, Uber and Deliveroo? Now nobody can make shows, musicians can't live from royalties, taxi drivers are debt laden, restaurants have to jack their prices and ghost kitchens mean you don't know where your food came from.
