ER doctor here! Please seek medical attention (go to the ER) if you are hit in the head with a ballistic. “Less lethal” weapons kill people all the time, in addition to causing permanent disabilities. If you don’t feel safe disclosing that you were protesting just say you were hit in the head, etc

This seems an excellent day to post a pic of the burning Reichstag in Berlin. Hitler blamed the 1933 fire on communists and used it as a pretext to suspend civil liberties and to allow the Nazis to peruse "ruthless confrontation" with German citizens. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

Trump in 2020: We have to go by the laws. We can't move in the National Guard. I can call insurrection but there's no reason to ever do that, even in a Portland case. We can't call in the National Guard unless we're requested by a governor.
