Mostly agree with this. Playing old games will also make you realise that there are some elements of gameplay that are still being used today and in the case of some games (e.g Dark Souls, etc) it's why they're so popular. In many ways what's old is new again.

There are those who will tell you that Sega Rally Championship is overrated. Those people are not to be trusted. This game whipped so hard in 1995 that it rid Japan of the "taboo" of rally racers, brought realistic driving on different surfaces to the fore of racer design, and still rules today.

It's really funny seeing some gamers say they won't be giving any money to Nintendo ever again because..... the Switch 2 may not work after an update if it's been detected to have been illegally modified or has modified software on it. Like that hasn't been their policy for decades.

For those curious, you can run the Powershell command Disable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName "Recall" -Remove to remove this. Get-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName "Recall" lets you check the status of the feature on your computer.

Dumb idea. Buy a game digitally on console and pay an extra £5 and the publisher/platform will send you a medallion or something like that for the game so you can display SOMETHING.

I finally finished Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. I had problems with it. Problems that kept me away from it for long periods of time (it turns out you can have too much game in your game). But by the time the credits rolled, my feeling was that I loved it anyway. That world means a lot to me.
