Years ago we went to watch Eurovision in the German American Cultural Center in Chicago (DANK Haus). Their projector was broken, missing yellow and messing up anything mixed with yellow. The broadcast became an amazing game of who can 1st guess the country based on their distorted flag and colors.

In Sydney Lumet’s Making Movies he writes the best films are when everyone is working to make the same film, as opposed to trying to be the best actor, writer, etc. That one scene in Sinners — you know the one — is a lot of talent working together to make something truly transcendent.
