i don't think that's accurate. i think the dirtbag left generally is well read, well informed, & earnestly thinks a lot about the directions we need to move in ideologically & politically. they are often marginalized by those afraid to be critical of capital, ie the Dems & mainstream media etc

They don't want to make any progress unless it's everything they want right away.

It's a fantasyland universe with themselves cast as the only good guys.
